The American people are once again taking to the streets to protest what the Trump regime is doing to our country.
This Thursday marks five years since the passing of Rep. John Lewis, the civil rights icon who coined the phrase “good trouble” for peaceful, non-violent action that challenges injustice and creates meaningful change.
Public Citizen — building on the historic “No Kings!” mass mobilization we helped organize last month — is partnering with the Transformative Justice Coalition, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Black Voters Matter, and other allies on this nationwide “Good Trouble Lives On” day of action.
There are over 1,500 events in the works, with more being added every day.
All across the country, Americans will be taking to the streets to reject Donald Trump’s authoritarianism and to stand up for civil rights.
Visit our “Good Trouble Lives On” coalition website to find a rally near you and join in this Thursday, July 17!
We hope you can be part of a rally in your area, in person or in spirit.
For democracy,
